Warwick's Tourism, Culture and Development can help you locate space for your business

Mayor Scott Avedisian

In recent months, city officials have had the opportunity to join the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce and a number of local businesses - from small, family-run enterprises to national chains - at ribbon cuttings and grand opening celebrations to mark expansions in, or relocations to, Warwick. For those looking to buy, sell, or lease properties, a free service offered by the city's Department of Tourism, Culture and Development (TCD) has been making it even easier to locate the perfect space for their business.
The TCD offers a website, www.movetowarwickri.com, specifically tailored to business' needs. Improved during a complete overhaul of the TCD's economic development and tourism sites two years ago, movetowarwickri.com offers a no-cost, searchable commercial property database, accessible to businesses and individuals alike. We encourage brokers, Realtors and owners to take advantage of this valuable marketing tool.
Each property listing includes a color photo, zoning designation (such as general business or office), address, square footage and whether the facility is for sale or lease. Properties can be sorted and searched, and a "details" icon allows one, with a single click, to find the property ID number, listing and sale or lease price. The TCD staff will then connect potential buyers or renters directly with the listing Realtor or property manager/owner.
In addition, the site contains a link that will connect one directly to the city's tax assessor's website. The TCD staff keeps records of how many times each property is viewed in order to better track trends and assist with filling vacancies.

There are currently 143 listed properties, 27 of which are highlighted as "featured properties" each month on a rotating basis. Listings include properties with a wide range of uses, square footage and other amenities. Facilities are located throughout Warwick, and include those located in close proximity to T.F. Green Airport and the Interlink train station.
TCD staff will also prepare a custom property sheet for companies interested in moving to Warwick, with information tailored to their specific needs.
The site is an excellent resource, and one I encourage you to utilize.
