Washington Trust provides Acme Tackle financing

Washington Trust's commercial lending group recently provided financing for working capital for Acme Tackle Company, of 69 Bucklin St. Acme Tackle Co. has been owned and operated in Providence, by the Lavallee family since 1952. Art Lavallee, Jr. has been Acme's president since 1977. Acme manufactures metal fishing lures, which are sold throughout the world. Acme's best known lure is the "Kastmaster", which is used in both fresh and salt water. "Washington Trust is pleased to provide financing to Acme Tackle Company," said John C. Warren, chairman and CEO of The Washington Trust Company. "We wish the Lavallee family continued success with their fishing lure business."
