Wexler named 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year by Enterprising Women

According to Elaine Construction, president Lisa Wexler was named a 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year by Enterprising Women magazine. The award honors the country's finest women entrepreneurs including their industry achievements as well as their community contributions. Award winners were honored at a three-day gala celebration in Fla. "We congratulate Lisa and other winners - all of whom are accomplished entrepreneurs in a range of industries and have earned the respect and admiration of their communities," said Monica Smiley, publisher of Enterprising Women magazine. Every award winner is the president or CEO of a fast-growth company that has gone above and beyond to become a role model for other women in business." Nominations were solicited for outstanding women entrepreneurs in five categories related to their annual sales volume - ranging from less than $1 million to more than $25 million. "I stand with so many truly gifted business women from such a range of backgrounds," said Wexler.
