Wilder Companies leases 12,200 s/f at Garden City Center to Anthropologie

The Wilder Companies has signed a lease with Anthropologie, the inspired retailer of fashionable women's clothing, shoes, accessories and home decor at Cranston's Garden City Center. Anthropologie will occupy 12,200 s/f in the center's Village area. Construction on the new store will begin immediately and opening is planned for April 2011. The retailer was represented by Alissa Bersin of The McDevitt Company, Philadelphia. The store offers one-of-a-kind items for women and home. The Garden City Center location will be Anthropologie's only store in R.I. Located on Rte. 2, Garden City Center has 500,000 s/f of retail and office space. The center is home to 55 shops, services, and eateries. New retailers recently joining the center include Francesca's Collections, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Carters.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
