Wilder Companies to bring three stores to Wayside totaling 15,807 s/f

Starbucks and Ethan Allen, along with a Midwestern favorite Potbelly Sandwich Shop will open at Wayside as part of The Wilder Companies' multi-phase revitalization plan. Home furnishings retailer, Ethan Allen will occupy 12,272 s/f in the lower level of the former Borders location. The store will have a major presence on the upper level as well, with an entrance between L.L. Bean and the new Seasons 52 restaurant. Starbucks will take a high visibility end cap location in 1,589 s/f next to Coldstone Creamery. Hailing from Chicago and new to the Boston market, Potbelly Sandwich Shop will open its fourth Massachusetts location in 1,946 s/f at Wayside this spring. These exciting additions to Wayside's retail offerings will bring the combined total to over 30,000 s/f of new stores and restaurants continuing the remerchandising initiative of the revitalization plan. This spring Wayside's revitalization work will continue with the completion of the parking reconfiguration and improved pedestrian flow, along with enhancements to the center island including new plantings, a reconfigured walkway, and new seating and leisure areas. "These improvements combined with the increased shopping and dining choices will provide more options and greater convenience to Wayside shoppers, " said Wilder's vice president of leasing, Gary Robinson.
