Wingate Living promotes Ferrara to general manager at One Wingate Way East

Megan Ferrara

Needham, MA Wingate Living and WL Development, owner, operator, manager, and developer of luxury senior living communities, has promoted Megan Ferrara to general manager of One Wingate Way East, Wingate’s newest boutique-style independent living community currently under construction.

Ferrara began her career with Wingate in 2018 as a receptionist at Wingate Residences at Needham and has since advanced through a variety of leadership roles, including community relations director, lifestyle director, and community business director. Most recently, she excelled in the executive director in training program, a role she has held since 2022, where she demonstrated exceptional dedication to both residents and team members. A graduate of Providence College with a degree in biology and a strong interest in healthcare policy, Ferrara brings both operational expertise and a genuine passion for resident care to her new leadership position.

“I am honored to take on this role and to help launch such a groundbreaking community,” said Ferrara. “One Wingate Way East represents the very best of what senior living can be, connection and comfort in an environment that supports independence. I look forward to working with our team to bring that vision to life for our residents.”

Under construction and set to open in spring 2026, One Wingate Way East is already 98% pre-leased and will redefine boutique senior living with a combination of luxury amenities and personalized services. Future residents have chosen from dozens of unique one- and two-bedroom floor plans, many with Juliet balconies and French doors. They will also enjoy access to a wider campus of amenities, including a fitness center, roof terrace, salon and spa services, and gourmet dining featuring a beautiful display kitchen.

“One Wingate Way East is an exciting next chapter for our company and for luxury senior living in the region,” said Alexandra Schuster, president of Wingate Living. “Megan’s appointment as general manager ensures this community will launch with strong leadership, operational excellence, and the personal touch Wingate is known for.”

The Leasing Gallery for One Wingate Way East is open for private consultations and is accepting deposits for the waitlist.
