WinnResidential honored with four Achievement Awards from The Greater Boston Real Estate Board

WinnResidential was honored by The Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB) and the Rental Housing Association (RHA) with four 2010 Achievement Awards. The RHA awards are presented each year to those within the rental housing industry who continuously strive to excel beyond the daily challenges of his or her job. Michelle Tomassetti, regional marketing coordinator, Laurie Bolio, property manager and Garfield Blake, maintenance supervisor each received Professional Achievement Awards. Also, WinnResidential managed Franklin Hill Apartments in Dorchester, MA, was honored with the Communities of Excellence Award, in the affordable category. Tomassetti has been with WinnResidential since 2004 and currently oversees the marketing efforts at multiple locations throughout New England as well as properties in California. Bolio joined WinnResidential as a property manager in 2006. Her assignments have focused on high-profile lease-ups including Boott Mills Apartments in Lowell (154 unit mill rehab), Heritage at Bedford Springs in Bedford (164 units new construction) and, currently, Oak Grove Village in Melrose (550 units new construction). Blake oversees 24 properties in Dorchester with a total of 800 apartments with a staff of 10 maintenance personnel and 12 full time cleaners. Franklin Hill Apartments was recognized for revitalizing the surrounding community and re-defining the concept of reasonably-priced housing. With a beautifully-landscaped park at the center of the community and many other modern amenities, it has become a very desirable place for families to call home. "We are very proud of the accomplishments that each of these individuals has worked hard to achieve, and we applaud them for their work ethic and dedication," said WinnResidential president William Wollinger. "It is very gratifying to see these individuals and the Franklin Hill Apartments recognized with these prestigious awards. GBREB counts as its members more than 8,000 professionals engaged in all sectors of the industry. One of the local boards of the National Association of Realtors, BOMA International and the National Apartment Association, GBREB is considered unique nationally due to its varied membership base. The board also has five major divisions which are, Building Owners and Managers Association, Commercial Brokers Association, The Real Estate Finance Association, The Rental Housing Association , and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors.
