Winstanley Ent. breaks ground for 14,000 s/f addition
Town of Farmington officials, owners of Winstanley Enterprises, and One Beacon Insurance executives recently broke ground on a 14,000 s/f addition to 199 Scott Swamp Rd. Once completed, the 40,000 s/f building will be the new home of One Beacon Insurance, consolidating three Connecticut sites into this location.
Starting out with over 100 employees, One Beacon Insurance hopes to double its staff in the coming years. One Beacon Insurance joins a cluster of insurance and reinsurance companies in Farmington including Darwin and the headquarters of Connecticare.
The existing building, owned by Winstanley Enterprises, has been vacant for approximately five years. The building is one of three in the Farmington Business Park.
