Wise Construction completes construction of laboratories for the Aquarium Research Center at New England Aquarium

Wise Construction, of Winchester, has completed construction of five new research laboratories for the Aquarium Research Center at New England Aquarium. Researchers will use the laboratories to examine the relationships between coastal environments and the migratory patterns, diet and health of mammals. The new labs house specialty bio-safety equipment and HVAC systems. Construction required working above the Aquarium's Giant Ocean Tank, which remained open to visitors throughout the construction process. The New England Aquarium is a global leader in ocean exploration and marine conservation. It is one of the leading visitor attractions in the city, with over 1.3 million visitors a year.
