Wise Construction hire Guertin as director of Engineering

Winchester, MA Wise Construction, a construction management firm based in Boston, has hired Scott Guertin, P.E. as director of Engineering. Bringing a background of 25+ years in mechanical engineering, Guertin will support the construction process by providing engineering oversight from preconstruction/design review through project completion. Guertin brings a unique expertise that will further enhance the firm’s commitment to building high-performing and sustainable environments for its clients. 

Guertin joins Wise from Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates, Inc., where he served as principal | Healthcare Market leader. Previously, he served as associate vice president at NV5 for 16 years. For both these engineering firms, he focused on the design, coordination, commissioning and project management for MEP/FP systems for healthcare, life science, and institutional clients. Guertin is a registered professional engineer having earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Maine, and also is trained in Lean for Healthcare. He is also actively involved with and is a longtime member of ASHRAE, ASHE and NEHES.
