The Rhode Island Builders Association launched www.RIBAlist.com, the new consumer-outreach website designed to put members and their products/services before the public so they can get more work.
"Listings on www.RIBAlist.com are free to members, and the website will be publicized and marketed through a number of different venues, including radio, billboard, print and at our 62nd annual Home Show," said RIBA executive director John Marcantonio.
"We know that consumers now use the Internet to find contractors, and RIBA is positioning itself and its membership to compete in that area. Our goal is simple: To provide Rhode Islanders with a local process to find local companies and provide members the exposure and opportunity to get more work. Most importantly, we also provide consumers with the methods they should use to screen contractors and do their homework before making an informed choice," Marcantonio added.
