Nauset Const. completes Residences at Atlantis Marina - 44 units

Nauset Construction completed the Residence at Atlantis Marina, a new luxury residential community. Located on the waterfront, this new five-story, mixed-use facility contains 44-residential units, street-level retail space, a below grade parking garage, as well as surface parking. Nauset worked with Boston-based architect, Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, Inc. on the 127,000 s/f project, which broke ground in January 2006 and was completed on schedule this July. The Residences at Atlantis Marina was built from the ground up using steel frame construction and conventional concrete footings and walls. Steel sheeting was used for earth retention in order to pour the foundations below the water table. The building's exterior façade features a blend of cementious siding and brick masonry.
