CoStar selects Matthews Commercial for CoStar Power Broker Award

Waterbury, CT CoStar Group has selected Matthews Commercial Properties for the sixth consecutive year as a CoStar Power Broker Award winner, an annual award recognizing the "best of the best" in commercial real estate brokerage by spotlighting the U.S. firms and individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volume in commercial property sales or leases for the entire year of 2008.

Matthews Commercial Properties qualified as one of the top brokerage firms in Westchester and Southern Connecticut based on its total leasing transactions closed during 2008.

Ed Godin Jr, SIOR, a partner in the firm, was selected for the sixth consecutive year as a CoStar Power Broker Award winner in Westchester and Southern Connecticut based on his total industrial leasing transactions closed during 2008.

To achieve this award Godin was measured against other commercial real estate brokers in this region and subsequently was ranked among the top brokers in the market.
