Callahan completing construction of 225,000 s/f Wal-Mart project

Worcester, MA Callahan is nearing completion of new construction of Wal-Mart. The Worcester Super Wal-Mart is a 225,000 s/f retail space comprised of a full grocery, deli and bakery, pharmacy, Subway Restaurant, Game Stop, hair and nail care, tire and lube center, and indoor and outdoor garden center.

Some of the building highlights include 24 foot exposed painted roof structure, 225 sky lights with integral light dimming controls, Novar controlled mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems monitored 100% of the time from Wal-Mart's home office, underground electric shopping cart coral at the perimeter of the site, and a bottle and can recycling center. The project is scheduled for completion this month.
