Sutton, MA With Phase I of Pleasant Valley Crossing Shopping Center nearly 100% complete, Galaxy Development has just added more land for development of a third phase.

The newly acquired parcel is currently being designed to accommodate a free standing 5,500 s/f full-service restaurant and a multi-tenant retail plaza building of 19,000 s/f. MidPoint Engineering of Auburn, Mass. will be submitting plans for permits this spring and the developer expects to start construction in the fall with store openings planned for summer of 2018. This new and very successful shopping center along Rte. 146 has a 50,000 ADT count and signalized entrance on Boston Rd. The grocery anchored project is already home to the first ever ground up Market 32 by Price Chopper that opened in October 2015 and many smaller retailers that opened in the summer of 2016 which include Five Guys, Verizon, Great Clips, Q-Nails, Pleasant Valley Dental and UniBank.

Phase II of the project can accommodate up to an additional 130,000 s/f of retail and will be built after Phase III is complete.  When complete the project will total 225,000 s/f of retail space and also a residential parcel that can ideally accommodate multi-family or senior housing on the east side of the now 45-acre development site.
