Senate Construction celebrates milestone for Mass Crane and Hoist project

Tyngsborough, MA With winter quickly approaching, Senate Construction Corp. completed a major milestone at Mass Crane and Hoist’s new corporate headquarters project. Ensuring the project will stay on schedule through any bad weather, the 50,000 s/f pre-engineered facility is now weather-tight.

After exponential growth over the past several years, Mass Crane had outgrown their 20,000 s/f corporate headquarters. More than double the size, this new facility will contain office, manufacturing, and meeting space with a pink noise system throughout the office space to minimize distracting noise and increase privacy. The two-story grand lobby will feature a large platformed mezzanine and an open staircase with polished concrete and frameless glass. Outside, the unique design of the front entrance includes insulated metal panels comprised of different shapes, sizes, textures, and colors. The manufacturing space will feature five bridge cranes, multiple welding stations, and a large capacity paint booth.

“Getting the building weather-tight before the winter months was crucial,” said Matt Wilder, Senate’s project superintendent. “Over the next few weeks, we’ll complete paving the site and construct the canopy on the rear side of the building. The project is on track to be completed this spring.”
