State representative Puppolo addresses member
Boston, MA The night included more than elections. Members heard from state representative Angelo Puppolo (D-Springfield) who formerly owned a plumbing subcontracting company. Puppolo gave a legislative update on things happening in the State Legislature- particularly issues dealing with economic development. His update also included a status report on ASM’s indemnity bill (H.1624) which seeks to level the playing field by prohibiting general contractors from requiring subcontractors to indemnify them for any loss even when the subcontractor is not at fault.
