On March 3 the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Rhode Island and the Green Infrastructure Coalition will hold a joint meeting for a presentation and discussion of "Green roofs are here to stay - why, how and the EPA ~Vegetated roofs as a key component of a comprehensive green infrastructure strategy."
The meeting will be held at the New England Institute of Technology, One New England Tech Blvd., from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The presentation by Steven Hughes, AIA, LEED AP, vice chair - USGBC Rhode Island and architect, Tremco Inc., will discuss why the EPA has endorsed vegetated roofs as a key component of a comprehensive green infrastructure strategy, their performance characteristics and system components.
