Respondent’s Name: Tim Thompson Company: Marcus & Millichap What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2015? The greatest accomplishment of the Boston office of Marcus & Millichap in 2015 was the closing of 2015s largest apartment transaction in New Hampshire by Boston’s Institutional Property Advisors team, spearheaded by Rich Robinson. The Beechstone Apartments in Portsmouth, N.H. sold in July 2015 for an undisclosed price. Philip Lamere and Jennifer Athas were also on the deal team. What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2015? The largest single tenant net leased transaction of Marcus & Millichap’s Boston office to date for 2015 is the sale of a Stop & Shop in Brockton MA for $18,742,593, which was brokered by Bob Horvath. Additionally, Laurie Ann (LA) Drinkwater brokered the sale of a CVS in Kennebunk, ME for $10.05 million. Also slated to close by year-end are two more notable transactions from L.A. Drinkwater: the sale of a Giant Eagle grocery portfolio in Ohio for $27.75 million and the sale of a FedEx distribution center in Louisville, KY for $42 million.
