2017 Annual Review: Doug Martin of Colliers International

What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2017? I was honored to have been selected as a member of the 2017 40 under Forty class by the New Hampshire Union Leader. The program recognizes some of the state’s brightest young achievers who have a record of professional and volunteer accomplishments in New Hampshire.

What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2017? I worked on behalf of an ownership group in the acquisition of a portfolio of land and buildings, equating to roughly $10,000,000 in total sale proceeds.

What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2018? I predict continued steady activity throughout southern NH and the seacoast, as 2018 should pick up where 2017 left off with competitive industrial and office markets.  There are a number of users competing for fewer available options and new construction pricing still outpaces desired occupancy costs. I look forward to working with my Landlord and Tenant clients, and continue to help find the right solution for their individual commercial real estate needs.
