What advice would you offer to women getting into the CRE industry?

Confidence will get you very far in this industry, and if you are confident in yourself, then other people will have confidence in you. There are always many moving parts, variables, and unplanned activities in construction, and the ability to think, and act, creatively is key in addressing such issues. My main piece of advice to leave with anyone is to never stop asking questions. Use questions and inquiries as a strength, not a weakness, as you demonstrate your ability to learn and grow.

In the past year, what project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

ARCO National Construction - New England is currently working on a 396,375 s/f project in Boylston, Mass. The site presented major challenges, which required blasting over 280,000 cubic yards of rock. This project has made our team think outside the box and use our value engineering skills in order to succeed. It has not only been personally and professionally satisfying to meet certain milestones throughout the project lifecycle, but an honor for me to be a part of this team.
