Best book, podcast, or app for aspiring leaders: I prefer playing or listening to music and exercising over reading. My best creative thinking is done during these activities. For me, it has helped me find personal advancements far more than any book, app, or podcast.

What was one of your biggest challenges as a leader and how did you overcome it? Running a construction company places me in a unique situation where I interact with a vast spectrum of people. I frequently have the challenge of gaining the trust and respect of everyone involved in a construction project, from a skilled tradesperson to a CEO. My best method of achieving this is by gaining a true understanding of each person’s role. I ask questions and am never ashamed to admit that I don’t know something.
