What recent accomplishment or initiative are you most proud of, and what impact did it have on your firm, clients, or community? Fulfilling the goals and dreams of our clients is probably one of the most important things we do. People come to us with an idea about obtaining a property or business, fulfilling the American dream. We help people achieve what they are looking to do with their lives. In most instances, some of these decisions are the biggest moments in their lives. They are monumental.

What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? Always remember the recession of 08, it’s something that taught my generation how to deal with real positions in distressed assets and real estate. They were tough long days for us all, but we were able to stay humble, keep our heads up and work through it. It prepared us for any situation and made us better for our clients. We are ready for anything because of it, and it (recession) will happen again.

How do you inspire, motivate, or mentor others within your organization? Kindness inspires. We love to help out in all of the communities that we work in. “Paying it forward” will inspire and motivate others to do the same. Make time for others and the reward will be 10X the almighty dollar.

What advice would you share with emerging professionals striving to become future leaders in commercial real estate? Show up and work, follow up and you will leave the pack behind you. Half the people don’t show up the other half that show up don’t work. All you have to do is show up and work!

What daily habit or routine helps you stay focused or motivated as a leader? “Early to bed, early to rise, work like hell and advertise” (Ted Turner)

What book, podcast, or app has most influenced your approach to leadership? Fav recent Podcast “ALL IN” and Book “Never Split the Difference” by Chris Voss

Who has had the greatest impact on your career or leadership journey? My Father had me working at the age of 7, I made $5 a day working at a Cape Cod Resort.
