What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? AI is undeniably shaping the future of construction law, particularly in contract drafting and project management. Today, clients leverage AI platforms at every project stage – from generating initial drafts of contracts and compliance documents to tracking project timelines and seeking legal guidance on jurisdiction-specific regulations. At Hinckley Allen, we are committed to staying informed about the latest updates and best practices in AI technology to anticipate client needs, provide more efficient legal solutions, and enhance our role as trusted advisors.
Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? Every day, I am inspired by the people I work with at Hinckley Allen – seasoned attorneys who have shaped the field and young lawyers just starting their journey. Our close-knit, collaborative team creates a unique environment where we can reflect, learn, and grow from one another. My advice to women entering the A/E/C industry is to try new things. Take on challenges, embrace new experiences, and step outside your comfort zone. You might discover a passion or skill you never knew you had, and in this dynamic industry, that can open doors you never imagined.
Do you have a hidden talent or a surprising fact about yourself that most people wouldn’t know? I have played in an adult field hockey league for several years.
