Who or what inspired you to join the AEC industry? Growing up in a family with many relatives in the trades I spent much of my childhood on jobsites. I enjoyed seeing things come together that my family had helped create and I thought it would be a rewarding career that could harness both my creative side and logical side. Outside of the construction industry, my mom is also a woman in a male-dominated field. Watching her growth and hard work has led me to aspire to be a strong female in the construction industry and hopefully help other young women become interested and involved as well.
