Jones Lang LaSalle Construction has been appointed general contractor for the Warehouse Bar & Grille, a new 4,300 s/f restaurant at street level on the corner of Milk and Broad Sts. The $1 million build-out has begun with the opening scheduled for mid-August.
The new space will feature an industrial design, polished concrete floors, an exposed ceiling, stainless steel accents, and a monochromatic palate. Warehouse will seat 104 people, and bridge the gap between sports bars and upscale eateries by providing a warm, casual and stylish space. The Warehouse kitchen will specialize in creative pub fare cuisine prepared by Chef Nathaniel Durost, former executive sous chef of Stephanie's on Newbury. The menu will showcase seasonal, market-fresh ingredients with a wide variety of plates to share, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads and more.
"The Broad St. location will serve as a neighborhood gathering place for business lunches, after-work cocktails, dinner dates, weekend brunch and large group events," said Warehouse owner Cliff Dever. "It will include televisions to watch your favorite sporting event. I'm thrilled to be working with Jones Lang LaSalle on this project, and look forward to bringing a fresh and exciting venue to the neighborhood."
According to Jones Lang LaSalle senior vice president and project executive Dana Griffin, "Our team is working to complete this unique downtown dining experience. Jones Lang LaSalle is pleased to add Warehouse to our restaurant portfolio and bring Cliff's vision to life."
Joining Griffin on the Jones Lang LaSalle Construction team are: senior superintendents Keith Pearson and Chad Nixon, construction manager Bob Kelly, and senior estimator Chris Hardiman.
