Abbey Rd. Advisors holds tenant appreciation day at Fairfield Exec.

The buzz created by the new Metro North station scheduled to open in July 2010 prompted a well-attended Tenant Appreciation Day recently at the Fairfield Executive Center, 1375 Kings Highway East. As part of Tenant Appreciation Day, Abbey Rd. Advisors, the owners of 1375 Kings Highway East, introduced their tenants to the building's new property manager, HK Group, and CB Richard Ellis, the building's exclusive leasing agent. In addition, Mark Barnhart, director of economic development for the town of Fairfield, gave a brief presentation regarding the town's plans for the new Metro North station. "Several tenants mentioned they moved into this building and its neighbor [777 Commerce] because of the new Metro North station," Tom Pajolek, senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, said. Mike Dillon, vice president, CBRE, said "This new train station in Fairfield is an appealing alternative for many commuters in the area, and a much welcomed feature for the building, as 1375 Kings Highway East is only a few steps away." The Fairfield Metro North station is in the initial stages of development, as is a 1,500 car surface parking lot. The plans also include a hotel, additional office space, and supporting retail that are to be built by a private developer.
