Cross Point - Lowell, MA

Anchor Line Partners and Farallon Capital Management, LLC have signed their first lease since acquiring Cross Point with 32,000 s/f of office space committed to Jabra, a leading manufacturer of intelligent audio solutions. Jabra is relocating its North America headquarters and more than 90 employees from Nashua, N.H. to the redesigned Cross Point campus in April.
Anchor Line and Jabra were represented by Matt Daniels, managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle. Other notable tenants at Cross Point include Verizon, Arris, Little Sprouts Daycare and Vantiy. CP Associates LLC is the landlord for the property and DBA-W Architects will be designing Jabra's new space.
"Cross Point is well-positioned to house tech companies like Jabra and provide tenants with amenities that support productivity and work-life balance," said Andrew Maher, founder and managing director of Anchor Line. "We look forward to working with Jabra to create a custom space that is designed to meet their high expectations while retaining and attracting future employees."
Anchor Line and Farallon acquired Cross Point in June and began significant renovations in August. Once complete, the Cross Point campus will feature new on-site amenities such as meeting spaces, a fitness center with yoga studio and an open recreational space for activities including a renovated cafeteria, restaurant, bike storage and a new on-site day care.
These changes will create a vibrant and collaborative 21st century campus that gives companies the features and benefits of a single-tenant campus with the value of a multi-tenant building at competitive prices. The new amenities, design and rejuvenated environment were key factors in attracting Jabra to the campus.
"We are delighted to welcome Jabra to our rent roll of tenants," said Rocky Fried, managing member of Farallon, "Cross Point already presents a compelling option for tenants seeking efficient, flexible space in suburban Boston, and will only improve with the amenity package currently under way."
Originally built as the headquarters for technology powerhouse Wang, Cross Point has a robust and efficient infrastructure that accommodates multiple fiber and broadband providers and offers redundancies in electric, telecommunications and HVAC systems, making it highly reliable.
"As a global, leading technology manufacturer, we expect our facilities to add significant value to our brand, our business and the work environment for our employees. With high expectations, we look forward to our relocation and becoming a more active part of the greater Boston tech community," said Pete Fox, president and general manager for Jabra North America.
Located at the intersection of Rtes. 3 and 495, Cross Point is just four miles from the Lowell Commuter Rail and a half-hour from both Logan and the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
