Annual IREM Fall Leadership Conference

The Annual IREM Fall Leadership Conference was held this year at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, AZ. There were 600 attendees, coming from all parts of the USA and from as far away as China and South Africa. The Boston Chapter was well represented - from board and committee members to friends. We were also happy to spend time with other chapter members from Rhode Island and Connecticut. The professional collaboration and positive energy at this conference could be felt at every speaker presentation and educational session! There were endless opportunities, from informative training workshops to networking with colleagues, not to mention the fabulous Arizona weather! The conference focused on the goal of expanding IREM, both domestically and globally. This was evident by the number of international attendees and the energy and participation that they brought to the conference. Another trend seen was the importance of being able to effectively implement and integrate today's technology into every day business practices. From keynote speakers such as Anant Yardi and Steve Rizzo - to being able to thank 2013 president Beth Machen and welcome in 2014 president Joe Greenblatt - this conference was a huge success! A reminder about our upcoming events: November - Annual Awards Night : We are excited to hear our keynote speaker senator (MA) Scott Brown at the November 7th Annual Awards night.
