Anshen+Allen has hired Gina Kish, AIA, to lead healthcare planning and design activities in its Boston office," said Roger Swanson, chair of the firm's board of directors.
Kish brings over two decades of experience in healthcare planning and design, most recently as principal at Cannon Design in Boston, where she led healthcare market operations.
As a principal at Anshen+Allen, she will be in charge of large healthcare projects.
Kish's expertise includes hospital campus master planning, design of children's hospitals and ambulatory care buildings, as well as hospital expansion and departmental expansion.
She has guided high-profile healthcare and clinical planning and design projects, including the pediatrics inpatient unit and outpatient clinics at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, Conn., and served in leadership roles for many other design and planning projects including the acuity adaptive inpatient units at the Shapiro Cardiovascular Center of Brigham and Women's Hospital, the process redesign team for Ireland Cancer Center at University Hospitals of Cleveland, and the Interior Standards Project at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.
Working closely with clients to integrate their vision into the project design process from the earliest stages and to enhance outcomes, the LEED-accredited architect also brings rich experience in sustainable design for healthcare facilities.
