ARCO National Const. completes self-storage facility for R.J. Kelly

Boylston, MA ARCO National Construction’s New England division has completed a new Class A self-storage facility for R.J. Kelly.

Developed by R.J. Kelly and constructed by ARCO, the new three-story, 103,050 s/f facility redevelops a pad ready parcel into a modern, institutional-grade self-storage asset serving the greater Worcester markets. The project is situated on a 6.12-acre site with Rte. 140 frontage and visibility from I-290.

The fully conditioned facility includes 797 climate-controlled storage units, including 46 drive-up units, along with a 1,000 s/f office. The building features three total entrances, including two sliding glass doors and one main entrance, as well as 19 on-site parking spaces to support customers and daily operations.

Additional project features include metal frame construction, a TPO roof system, 800-amp electrical service, and a wet fire protection system. The facility was designed to meet institutional standards for durability, accessibility, and climate control while providing a high-quality storage option for both residential and commercial users in the region.

“ARCO is proud to partner with R.J. Kelly on the successful delivery of this Boylston self-storage facility,” said Jason Grant, president of ARCO National Construction’s New England division. “This project reflects a thoughtful transformation of a suburban property into a modern storage asset that supports market demand and long-term operational efficiency.”
