Studio G Architects celebrates ground breaking of Gregg House’s new Early Learning Center in Lynn

Lynn, MA Studio G Architects joined Gregg House leadership, elected officials and community partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Gregg House’s new Early Learning Center at 535 Western Ave., marking the official start of construction on the 40,000 s/f facility.

Studio G Architects is serving as architect of record for the new center, which was designed to support Gregg House’s mission and help meet the growing need for high-quality childcare and early education in the Lynn community.

The new Early Learning Center will serve more than 320 infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners and feature 23 curriculum-based classrooms. The facility will also include dedicated spaces for S.T.E.A.M. learning, discovery and gross-motor development, along with age-appropriate outdoor play areas.

Beyond the classroom, the design incorporates spaces intended to support the whole family, including a free family pantry, student support areas and dedicated parent and therapeutic meeting spaces.

Studio G Architects worked closely with Gregg House to translate the organization’s vision into a thoughtful, welcoming, healthy and functional environment designed around the needs of young children, educators and families.

The project reflects Studio G Architects’ approach to educational and community design, balancing functionality and flexibility with spaces that respond to the people who use them every day.
