Berte and Severance of Carlson GMAC lease 6,300 s/f for Gutierrez
Marlborough Wine and Spirit Company, a full service liquor store, has leased 6,300 s/f of newly developed retail space located 44 Boston Post Rd, just west of Rte. 495, having moved from its former location on the east side of the city. Rich Berte and Jonathan Severance of Carlson GMAC Commercial Real Estate were the sole brokers for the transaction.
Steve Zigler, proprietor of Marlborough Wine and Spirit, worked with Berte and Severance for over two years to find a suitable location. Zigler recently hosted a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration that included the mayor Nancy Stevens of the city.
The property is owned and managed by The Gutierrez Companies of Woburn. Project manager Daniel Clarey oversaw the development of the complex and is handling the management. This site is also the home of a new "99" restaurant.
Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
