Bierbrier Development completes 1,795 s/f lease renewal

Bierbrier Development, a developer of urban shopping centers in eastern Mass., signed a lease renewal with existing tenant EdibleArrangements at Walgreens Plaza. Edible Arrangements, which has been a tenant at Walgreens Plaza for five years, signed a long-term lease agreement renewing its 1,795 s/f store space. Based in Wallingford, Conn., Edible Arrangements has more than 1,100 stores in the U.S. and abroad. Located at the junction of Rtes. 110 and 125 at the entry to downtown Haverhill, the 34,000 s/f Walgreens Plaza has 20,000 s/f of space for small shops in addition to its 14,820 Walgreens anchor store. Other major tenants include Aspen Dental, KFC/Taco Bell, Giovanni's and Hair Cuttery. A 4,800 s/f space, a 1,722 s/f space and a freestanding pad remain available for lease. "Edible Arrangements continues to prosper at Walgreens Plaza and we are very pleased to welcome them back as valued tenants," said Len Bierbrier, president and owner of Bierbrier Development. "Lease renewals such as this are always a gratifying indicator that Bierbrier Development's properties have the vibrant locations necessary for success in the retail market."
