Boston Realty Advisors broker $11.5 million sale of the Mount Vernon on behalf of the Unitarian Universalist Association

Boston Realty Advisors (BRA) has sold The Mount Vernon, a 23,000 s/f building located at 39-41 Mount Vernon St., for $11.5 million, on behalf of their client the Unitarian Universalist Association and their advisor, Leggat McCall Properties, to a Daniel René affiliated company, Mount Vernon Partners LLC, which is a joint venture between local operator Daniel René and their institutional partner from France. The Mount Vernon is the fourth and final building of the Unitarian Universalist Association's Beacon Hill portfolio to be sold and is the final piece of the association's move to their new home, 24 Farnsworth St. in the city's Seaport District. Christopher Sower, managing director and partner of BRA, said, "This was a great transaction and shows the strength of the condominium market in Boston. Both seller and buyer were a pleasure to work with." Jason Weissman, principal and founder of BRA, said, "This impressive piece of real estate garnered a significant amount of interest, creating a spirited bidding process. In the end, the buyer Daniel Rene stepped up to make this transaction happen." "This is our second acquisition as a joint venture and we are looking forward to many more" said Marcel Safar, principal of Daniel René Capital. "As a European team, we are proud to develop this stately Beacon Hill property into extraordinary homes unique in their elegance and Bostonian charm." The building is situated at the top of Beacon Hill, steps away from tMass. General Hospital (MGH), Mass Eye & Ear, Boston's Financial District, and Suffolk University. The Mount Vernon provides access to multiple employment centers. Additionally, the property is central to countless other amenities including Whole Foods Market, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks and the many local shops and restaurants along Charles St. BRA is a privately held commercial brokerage firm based out of Boston Massachusetts. BRA specializes in the sale and leasing of investment and commercial properties throughout New England.
