Boulay joins Synergy Investments as irector of property management

Chad Boulay has joined the expanding real estate operations of Synergy Investments as director of property management, overseeing operational, financial and strategic functions to deliver services in a portfolio now extending to 31 properties and including more than 3.5 million square feet in the Greater Boston area. "Chad is a talented and experienced professional who is going to help us drive Synergy Investments service delivery model and ensure that our properties operate efficiently and effectively," said David Greaney, founder and president of Synergy. "We're excited to have him on our team." Synergy Investments properties' occupants include more than 400 companies, retailers, and other organizations. Boulay has responsibility for financial and strategic functions within Synergy's property management division, leading a team of property managers, building engineers and support staff to deliver best-in-class property management services to tenants. "When I saw this opportunity come up, it seemed like a really good fit," said Boulay. "Over the last 10 years Synergy has bought a lot of property. They do a great job but want to do even better. When I first came in Dave gave me very clear and explicit instructions, and that was to make this the best property management group in the City of Boston." Boulay, a resident of South Boston, has more than 15 years of diversified real estate industry experience managing approximately 40 million square feet of real estate nationally during his career. Specializing in commercial property management, he has worked in all aspects of real estate including construction management, asset management, and residential management. Before joining Synergy, Boulay served as the Director of Property Management for HallKeen Management, where he directed all operational aspects of HallKeen's more than four million square feet of commercial property. Prior to joining HallKeen, he served as the Director of Property & Project Management at Equity Industrial Partners, as Property Manager at One Federal Street for Tishman Speyer, and as Director of Operations for Wellesley Management. Boulay is a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Development Committee, NAIOP and the Building Owners and Managers Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption College in Worcester, MA, where he was a member of the varsity football team.
