Brady Sullivan Properties was named the 2015 Business of the Year in the Construction/Engineering/Real Estate category. The Manchester-based real estate development company received the honor from Business NH Magazine, which published features on each of the award winners in the May issue of the magazine.
A combination of Manchester Millyard revitalization efforts, commercial presence throughout southern N.H., and philanthropic activities contributed to the real estate company receiving this distinction. 2014 was a particularly busy year for the company, in which it expanded its mill presence in Keene, N.H., officially opened the American Wire Residential Lofts in Pawtucket, R.I., and acquired City Hall Plaza in the heart of downtown Manchester. In addition to enhancing its real estate presence, the company donated time, money, or space to more than 20 different nonprofit organizations.
"We are truly excited that Business NH Magazine is recognizing Brady Sullivan for its hard work not just last year, but over the last two decades," said Arthur Sullivan, principal of Brady Sullivan. "The management and our staff have worked hard to provide quality residential and commercial real estate throughout the state, while also taking time to make a difference in and around our community. We're very honored."
Sullivan and co-principal Shane Brady were invited to an awards luncheon at the end of May to receive the award.
Brady Sullivan Properties and Sullivan have received numerous awards since its founding in 1992. Sullivan was named the 2013 Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year, and received the NHCIBOR Community Service Award, also in 2013. The company received a 2008 Manchester Historic Association Award in the "Private Development" category, as well as the 2007 New Hampshire Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics.
Founded by Arthur Sullivan and Shane Brady in 1992, the Manchester-based real estate development firm has developed a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial real estate, owning and managing more than 4 million square feet of mill, office, and industrial space. The company holds a sizeable share of both the commercial and residential real estate market throughout New England, with properties in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
