Bridgewater Savings raises $1,100 at Shred Day event for local food pantries

Bridgewater Savings recently held a community shred day event and raised over $1,100 for the bank's Charitable Foundation. The proceeds from the Shred Day event are being donated to several local food pantries. The food banks that will receive the donations include Raynham Food Basket, Citizens for Citizens in Taunton, St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Pantry in Middleboro and West Bridgewater, Pembroke Food Pantry, Bridgewater Food Pantry, East Bridgewater Food Pantry, and West Bridgewater Food Pantry.
"Being able to help families that are struggling this holiday season is very important to us," said James Lively, president and CEO of Bridgewater Savings. "We are proud to service the financial needs of the people in our communities, and we feel it is our responsibility to help the people in our communities by offering support to those that are enduring hardships during the holiday season."
