Brothers and Nitsch of Nitsch Engineering receive EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Award

Nitsch Engineering president and CEO Lisa Brothers, PE, LEED AP BD+C, and founding principal and chairman Judith Nitsch, PE, LEED AP BD+C, received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 Award in the New England region's services category. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Brothers and Nitsch were selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was announced at a special gala event at the Sheraton Boston. In response to winning the award, Nitsch said, "Since the beginning, I've shared that our success relates to having terrific clients, fabulous employees, and wonderful projects. Throughout our journey, we've focused on this core, which has allowed us to steadily grow." Ms. Brothers added, "We're about to celebrate our 25th anniversary, have 85 employees and 15 shareholders, and earned our highest revenues ever last year. We're so excited to win this award, and to continue to drive our company to even greater success!" As New England award winners, Ms. Brothers and Ms. Nitsch are now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2014 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 15, 2014.
