Callahan Construction Managers completes project for Benchmark Senior Living

Norwood, MA Callahan Construction Managers, a Bridgewater-based full-service construction management firm, has completed its third assisted living project with Benchmark Senior Living, a provider of senior living services throughout the northeast.

Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree is a 73,000 s/f senior housing property comprised of 90 apartments, as well as a memory care unit that provides services for those with Alzheimer’s and other illnesses that impair memory. The senior living facility has 21 memory care units and 69 assisted living units. There are 35 studio units, 30 one-bedroom units and 25 two-bedroom units. The facility includes a commercial kitchen, library, day spa, dentist office, exercise room, arts/crafts room, beauty salon, bistro kitchen, dining areas, courtyard, pergola and landscaped grounds.

The completion of this property follows an ongoing partnership between Callahan and Benchmark.

In addition to the recent completion of Benchmark Senior Living on Clapboardtree, Callahan has also completed two additional properties for the company, Benchmark Senior Living at Split Rock in Shelton, Conn. and Benchmark Senior Living at Woburn in Woburn, Mass.

Working in partnership with JSA Architects, construction on the assisted living property began in August of 2015 and took 14 months to complete.
