CB Richard Ellis/New England brokers three leases totaling 100,000 s/f at Burlington Centre

On behalf of Multi-Employer Property Trust, an open-ended commingled real estate equity fund, CB Richard Ellis/New England has facilitated three new leases at Burlington Centre. STMicroelectronics, a world leader in providing semiconductor solutions, will occupy 27,206 s/f at 30 Corporate Dr. Acquia, a commercial open source software company, will take 35,454 s/f at 25 Corporate Dr. The arrival of STMicroelectronics and Acquia, coupled with the recent deal signed with InterGen, brings over 100,000 s/f of new leasing to the park this quarter. "Burlington Centre is a very appealing office park in the Route 128 North area," said CBRE/NE's Kerry Olson Hawkins. "The campus has a prime location with superb visibility, excellent on-site and nearby amenities, in addition to a well-capitalized landlord with a commitment to sustainable development, as three of the four buildings within the park boast LEED Certification. We are excited to bring such a diverse mix of industries to the tenant roster at Burlington Centre." As exclusive leasing agent for the office park, CBRE/NE's Kerry Olson Hawkins, vice president, represented the advisor for the landlord, Bentall Kennedy. STMicroelectronics was represented by CBRE/NE's Mike Ripp, executive vice president/partner, and CBRE Chicago's Peter Livaditis, executive vice president. CBRE/NE's Mark Reardon, executive vice president/partner, and Chris Cuddy, executive vice president/partner, represented Acquia. InterGen was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle managing director, Brooks Murphy. Burlington Centre is a 500,000 s/f, master-planned, Class A office park situated on 78 acres off of Rte. 3A. The office park consists of four buildings, 10, 25, 30 and 35 Corporate Dr., three of which are LEED Certified by the USGBC. Offering excellent access to Rte. 128 and situated just 15 miles northwest of Boston. Park amenities include two full-service cafeterias, outdoor patio seating, a fitness center, newly renovated shower and locker facilities and on-site management. Area amenities within proximity include the Burlington Marriott Hotel, Summerfield Suites, Lahey Clinic, Wayside Commons and the Burlington Mall. In 2009, the park was awarded the prestigious TOBY (The Office Building of the Year) honors for the Suburban Office Park of the Year by BOMA, the Building Owners and Managers Association.
