Centerplan Development Company completed another Rite Aid store. Located at the intersection of Foxon Rd. and Thompson St., the 14,000 s/f store features a drive through pharmacy and a large retail area. The design of the store emphasizes the pharmacy which has a waiting area with lowered ceiling and comfortable chairs, and connects to a pharmacy consultation room, providing a private and professional setting for patient counseling by the pharmacist.
Centerplan completed the Rite Aid ahead of schedule and is currently breaking ground on another Rite Aid in North Haven.
A mixed-use two story development at Landmark Square in downtown Middletown is near completion. The development is anchored by a Rite Aid on the first floor and Centerplan's offices on the second. The first floor retail will also feature a deli and has approximately 1,200 s/f of prime retail space still available. The second level has approximately 3,200 s/f of office space available. The development is the only one along Main St. to have on-site parking for over 100 cars. Located across the street from the town green and next to the Middlesex YMCA, this section of Main St. is known as the historic section. The building is lined with trees along Main and Union Sts. and features a landscaped tiered wall. Sidewalks surround the building and continue down Main St., making this a pedestrian friendly downtown as well as a great place to work.
