Condyne Capital Partners and Polar Design Build complete tilt-up construction at Baker Hollow Logistics Center project

Windsor, CT According to Condyne Capital Partners and Polar Design Build tilt-up walls have been fabricated and erected for the Baker Hollow Logistics Center. All site work has been completed including the laying of utilities, foundation poured, and ground has been leveled. The tilt-up panels have been framed, insulated, cured, and have since been tilted into place.

Polar Design Build has partnered with Maugel DeStefano Architects, C.E. Doyle, Pierce Builders Inc. and Turner Brothers LLC to design and create the tilt panels. Each panel, consisting of 4” concrete, 2” insulation with an additional 4” concrete on top, is constructed on a casting bed before being tilted and anchored into place via crane.

105 Baker Hollow Rd., home of the new Baker Hollow Logistics Center, will feature 165,000 s/f, 32’ clear heights, (37) 9’x10’ insulated dock doors, 35,000 lb. hydraulic dock levelers, and one drive-in ramp. The exterior will feature a glass store-front entrance, full landscaping and 58 trailer parking spots.

Baker Hollow Logistics Center is located in the submarket of Hartford off Rte. 91. Baker Hollow Logistics Center is Condyne’s newest development comprising of 165,000 s/f of modern high bay fulfillment and industrial warehouse serving todays e-commerce market.
