Diversified Project Management, Inc. (DPM), has completed the construction administration of Acme Packet's new 123,000 s/f, flagship headquarters and the company's relocation into the new facility.
Acme Packet, the leader in session border control solutions, relocated from its 75,000 s/f campus in Burlington to 123,000 s/f at 100 Crosby Dr. The new space showcases a three-story atrium with an impressive LED lit glass feature wall and a lively ground level café, as well as unique Acme Packet brand expressions in common areas such as the reception area, pantries and conference rooms.
DPM provided full project management services, including lease review, property due diligence, construction administration, FF&E coordination and move planning. DPM was retained early on and worked directly with Acme Packet to manage a schedule for the full integration of technology by spring of 2010. In addition, DPM worked closely with the design/build team which included Chapman Construction, Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, Dyer Brown Architects, RDK Engineers and WB Engineers.
"With [DPM's] professional expertise, devotion and perseverance, we successfully designed, built and moved into our new Acme Packet facility," said Steve Voto, Acme Packet's director of information technology. "We are pleased to have collaborated with the DPM team in successfully moving to a new headquarters that's representative of the growth, innovation and passion of the Acme Packet brand."
DPM has previously managed construction and relocation projects for a number of area high tech firms, including Akamai Technologies, Constant Contact, L-1 Identity Solutions and Red Hat.
