Ellis of Conway Commercial brokers $275,000 sale to The Dog's Den

The Dog's Den, owned by Lea Donovan, is a dog grooming shop and doggie daycare. Donovan recently purchased the building at 43 Schoosett St. (Rte. 139), where her business has been located for the past year. Previously, the shop was located at 460 Washington St. The 2,100 s/f building was purchased for $275,000 from Brady Properties. Dave Ellis of Conway Commercial brokered the transaction. Financing was provided by the Small Business Association and Eastern Bank. Donovan, a professional dog groomer for 15 years, worked at The Continental Shop in West Roxbury for eight years before starting her own business seven years ago. Pictured on The Dog's Den logo is Donovan's beloved Sampson who passed away shortly after opening her business. She is now the owner of three dogs, Monty, Yoda and Mic who she acquired just recently from a 91 year old client who could no longer care for him. The Dog's Den offers grooming services and day care for all dogs, with a specialty in geriatric dogs.
