Here is a full list of our current committees and a brief description of what they do, along with the names of the co-chairs. Professional Development Focused * Career Development: Focuses on enhancing the professional development and advancement of the membership. Co-Chairs: Lori Stewart Coletti, CFM, Big Bark Solutions and Sheila Schaffzin, Aerotek. * Education: Provides certification support, hands on educational learning, track lectures and seminars for the professional FM. Co-Chairs: Thomas Bourgeois, Harvard and Jeannine Stover, FMP, Harvard Medical. * Emerging Leaders Network: Young Professionals (under 35) providing networking and career development support. Chair: Shane Savoie, Santander. * Programs: Plans and executes highly successful monthly IFMA programs including project tours, panel discussions and presentations. Co-Chairs: Jeanne MacClellan, Dowling & Houy and Meagan O'Hara, Fort Point Project Management, * Corporate Real Estate Network: Industry specific committee focusing on the needs of the corporate real estate vertical market through round table seminars. VP: Mike Clancy, Creative Office Pavilion. * Sustainability: Focuses on benchmarking, education and collaboration around all sustainability practices. Co-Chairs: Molly Pidgeon, Ironwood Construction, Linda Sullivan, Shaw Contract and Guy Compagnone, Chapman Construction/Design Chapter Business Development Focused * Membership: Works to recruit members and reinforce retainage through enhancing the membership experience. Co-Chairs: Joy Shapiro, Diversified Project Management and Roger Dowd, EcoLogic. * Marketing & PR: Provides all marketing and communication strategy for the Chapter through the blog, publications and social media. Co-Chairs: Stephanie Nappi, Siemens and Stephen Hopkins, CRESource. * Community Projects Committee: The philanthropic wing of IFMA Boston, they support all volunteering and charity fundraising efforts. Chair: Tracey Hartford, Windover Construction. Special Events Focused * Awards of Excellence: Plans and executes the annual May Awards of Excellence event. Chair: Jenna Lavery, Donnegan Systems * Awards Submission and Selection Committee: Panel that reviews and votes upon the submissions for the annual Awards of Excellence event. Chair: James Connolly, Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare. * Holiday Gala: Plans and executes the annual December Holiday Gala fundraiser for Boston Medical Center's The SPARK Center. Co-Chairs: Linda Sullivan, Shaw Contract and Cara Moran, cara inc. * Golf Committee: Plans the annual June IFMA Boston Golf Classic. Co-Chairs: Carolyn Hickey, Diversified Project Management and Todd Davis, Sterling Corporation. * Schmooze Cruise: Plans and executes the annual July IFMA Boston Schmooze Cruise.
