Florence Electric rebrands Consolidated Electric division

Eli Florence, CEO of the Kaydon Group of Companies said that their Consolidated Electric division would now carry the Florence Electric brand name. Florence spoke of the resilience of the long established Consolidated brand in the industry. "We acquired Consolidated Electric of N.H. in 2007 and kept the name and familiarity to the local market. Now it's time to expand upon the strength of the Florence Electric brand and advance the standing of Consolidated Electric." The Consolidated Electric field and management team have been with the Kaydon Group for many years and most were involved in the operations of the company early on. Larry Dostie, who manages the N.H. office emphasized, "Our team is consistent, strong, experienced, safety focused and customer-service driven. The Consolidated team will continue to operate with dedication and passion for excellence demonstrated by the Kaydon Group of Companies." Consolidated Electrical has been a leading industry electrical contractor for over 30 years. Florence renamed the division to reflect brand unity with Florence Electric and Kaydon IT under the Kaydon Group of Companies." The name change expands the well-known Florence Electric brand in the industry and will simplify customer and vendor interaction with the company while continuing to meet the demands of the building technology buyer. Florence Electric, LLC and Kaydon Integrated Technologies are divisions of The Kaydon Group of Companies. Florence Electric Florence Electric offers consulting, engineering, design, and installation for electrical and building technology infrastructure. Services include infrared and power quality testing, energy conservation audits, electrical engineering, service and maintenance, annual life-safety systems testing and photovoltaic and wind energy systems. Florence Electric provides services along the East Coast from Maine to Florida. Kaydon Integrated Technologies: Kaydon IT provides world-class building technology services for mission critical systems, control wiring, and other low voltage systems. Services include security and surveillance systems, CCTV, broadcast systems, cabling infrastructure, wireless LAN/WAN, fiber optics, fire alarm systems, and audio/visual systems.
