Marlborough, MA Rene Gagnon, P.E. has joined Hancock Associates’ civil engineering department as a senior project manager. He is based out of Hancock’s 315 Elm St. office.

Gagnon has 15 years of experience as a project manager and civil engineer at several engineering firms in Massachusetts. His areas of expertise include land development planning and design, erosion and sedimentation control, construction administration and inspections of commercial and residential planning and construction.

Gagnon has a bachelor of science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UMass-Dartmouth. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts. 

“I was looking for a position with great growth potential in a firm that has a great reputation. In my new role at Hancock, I’ll be able to manage interesting and complex projects and mentor junior staff. The position is a perfect fit for me,” said Gagnon.

“Rene is exceptional at evaluating designs, plans and projects, assessing environmental impacts and risks and developing accurate technical reports,” said president Wayne Jalbert. “We’re thrilled to have him join our civil engineering department.”
