Geenty elected SIOR director for Northeast Region

Kevin Geenty SIOR, a vice president at The Geenty Group, Realtors in Branford, was elected to the position of regional director for the Northeast Region for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). The term of the directorship is for two years beginning in October 2009. In this position, Geenty will assist the six chapters of the Society in the Northeast with their combined membership of 310 and chapter operations, as well as act as a liaison for these chapters and their members on the Society's national board of directors. Geenty has been an SIOR designee since 1981 and currently serves on two national committees, is a trustee for the SIOR Scholarship & Education Foundation, and is a frequent Round Table moderator at the Society's national conferences.
