Nashua, NH Granite Commercial Real Estate LLC been certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration to participate in the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) program. The goal of the program is to encourage and stimulate business growth in economically distressed areas, and each year, the federal government aims to award at least 3% of all federal contracts to HUBZone-certified small businesses. Per the Small Business Administration, this allows Granite Commercial Real Estate LLC to participate in federally mandated, set-aside, HUBZone contracting opportunities.

Gaining HUBZone certification requires 35% of employed staff living in HUBZone areas, and having the company’s principal office located in a HUBZone, among other criteria established by the Small Business Administration.
